Rumbidzai Sithole | 伦比

Rumbidzai has a keen interest in business-led economic growth and structural transformation in Africa. Her career aspiration is to contribute towards accelerating Africa’s structural transformation and the creation of high-value jobs for increased prosperity.

In her previous role as the Regional Director for Strategic Initiatives at Prudential plc, she supported regional business strategy formulation, strategic execution, business planning, commercial partnership development, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) across eight African markets.

Rumbidzai worked in the World Bank’s Africa manufacturing advisory team, as a strategy professional at the largest industrial conglomerate in West Africa (the Dangote Group), and as a strategy consultant focused on economic development. Rumbidzai has also been an entrepreneur.

Rumbidzai was born and raised in Zimbabwe but has lived in key markets across the African continent: South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia, and Liberia.

Rumbidzai holds a master’s degree of public administration in international development from Harvard Kennedy School and an MBA from INSEAD Business School. She was a 2024 Asia Global Fellow at the University of Hong Kong.
